This place was talked up by friends and did not disappoint! I love their breakfast options. The grits are by far the best i’ve ever had. And there’s a cute kitty that hangs out on the porch that my wife loved.

GREAT place to stop for a REAL old fashioned breakfast and DELICIOUS! Biscuits are soft and touched by angels. The red eye gravy is just like I remember my grandma making and the tomato gravy was amazing. I’ll be making a plan to stop here again!

Best breakfast in Tuscaloosa, hands down. Love the food, the atmosphere, and the history. I got country ham, red eye gravy, scrambled eggs, grits, and homemade biscuits. The food was great. My server was fantastic. There is a lot of history with the atmosphere here. I may not be one of the regulars, but as much as I can when I am in town, I will be a regular.

Breakfast was really good. It was very difficult to find the parking lot if you're not familiar with the area. The parking is off a side street behind the actual building. The wait staff were really nice and the restaurant was cozy. There were a lot of options on the menu, and it is not expensive. We tried this place because of the great recommendations that everyone gave. If you are looking for a good breakfast, in a cozy place, that is local and not super expensive then this is the place !

We stopped for breakfast before the Bama game. What a cool old breakfast spot. Tight seating inside but the service was really good. Real country breakfast food. The country ham and biscuits were delicious. The fried taters were really good to. Authentic country cooking at its finest.

This is a must visit for locals, travelers, and tourists alike. If you’re interested in Alabama pics and portraits, the walls are literally covered. The place is small, but cozy. Even with a wait for tables, it moves pretty fast. They have a traditional breakfast menu and wonderful, friendly service. HIGHLY recommended.

Can't say enough about this place. There was a wait to get in on an early Sunday morning, but I was alone, so sat right down. The service was as expected, kind and courteous. The food was as good as home cooking. Ambiance is all Alabama. Roll Tide.
